Yeah, the pills themselves are diluted with tylenol. Through the IV, though, it's stronger.

I was on Dilaudid while in the hospital and after a couple surgeries, so I know what you mean (Morphine didn't phase me...at all). It's actually 8 times more potent than Morphine and 3 times as powerful as Heroine. So yeah. That's powerful stuff.
And noo I'm not some druggie. I'm the same with you when it comes to drugs - they scare the crap out of me.
It's just funny to see someone else who has been on Dilaudid (I've only come across two people, other than you).
Funny medicine!

I pray you pull through. Get stronger. The best thing you can be is supportive to your mother. Your father shouldn't have done that at all, especially at a time like this.

I will do that, and I'll pray for your faith, too. Colon cancer is one of the most treatable, even when it's been around awhile because it's a slow growing kind. Don't give up; keep on praying for her. [commonsensechristian]

So much has happened.
I'm very upset over your father. That sounds really awful. I feel for your brother. He shouldnt have to be judged for being who he is. Love should be unconditional that way.
I'm deeply sorry to hear about your mother being diagnosed with cancer. Your strength and support will be needed. I wish her the best through her treatments. And yes, I agree, I feel grateful Canada has such a great health system. Makes paying taxes so much more worth it.

oh sweetie my heart goes out to your mom it really does. I know what you mean about seeing parents vulnerable- in my case with my mum it made me feel totally helpless as it's weird being the one they're depending on for a change.
Can you tell me your mom's name? id love to include her in my prayers tonight :)
